Air Filter Housings
An air filter housing is a kind of air filtration device, as one of pneumatic three pieces, which are generally used to prevent dust for workshops, plants, operating rooms, laboratories or electronic mechanical communication equipment.
The key to affect the filtration precision of air filter housings is the filter element. Different filter elements can be selected according to the requirements of components to achieve the corresponding filtration precision.
The purification method
Particle removal technologies in the air used by air filter housings mainly include mechanical filtration (direct interception, inertial collision, Brownian diffusion mechanism), adsorption, electrostatic dust collection, anion and plasma method and electrostatic electret filtration.
Compressed air from the air source contains excessive water vapor and oil droplets, and solid impurities, such as rust, sand, pipe sealant, etc., which will damage the piston seal ring, plug the small vent on the components, shorten the service life of the components or make it invalid. The purpose of air filter housings is to separate liquid water and liquid oil droplets from compressed air, and to remove dust and solid impurities from the air, but not to remove gaseous water and oil.
